In a joint partnership with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, GIFT will bring together the next generation of leaders in the government, private and non-profit sectors in the Senior Management Programme (SMP). The mission of training tomorrow’s leaders is aligned with GIFT’s current Young Leaders Programme. GIFT’s engagement in the SMP will add a new and distinct feature to the long-established SMP module by providing an opportunity for the SMP candidates to apply their leaderships to tackle a real world development issue.
During the experiential module, SMP participants will work closely with Thach Ha Public Hospital management and the District People’s Committee to devise a public-private partnership business plan to tackle the current challenges of water sanitation, resources management and medical discharge treatment. The week-long programme will be held in Vinh City, south of Hanoi during 10-16 July 2009.
